Box Office Bloodbath - See Saw

As expected, splatter movie Saw IV won the box office this weekend, with 32 million bucks. Funny, folks will go to see people get tortured, but not to see people debate the ethics of torture, like in Rendition. You want more about the box office chance, check out the review from Fearnet.com.

Also of note, though, is the strong performance of Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, the Sidney Lumet film starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke. It raked in $73, 500 on only two screens in New York.
