So Dennis Quaid is going to be the grizzled General "Hawk" in the Stephen Sommers' G.I. Joe movie.
Just after I got done kvetching about my visceral dislike of Channing Tatum, and after I realize Dennis Quaid has somehow stopped being a likable actor after seeing Smart People at Sundance, Variety annouces that he's playing the commander of the whole Joe team.
I suppose I can get behind this. I'm just getting a weird feeling that maybe this'll be like a Jean Claude Van Damme Street Fighter movie instead of a hard-bitten military action movie.
