Oliver Stone's upcoming film on the George W. Bush presidency - which will be taken about as seriously as U-Turn was no matter how much ugly truth he incorporates, considering Stone's conspiracy buff nature being widely dismissed these days - has found its First Lady. Elizabeth Banks will be playing Laura Bush in W, which will also be a biopic about the life of the current president - or, as Jon Stewart calls him, "Still President Bush."
Side note, it's mildly weird that Banks has two upcoming comedies that are significantly different but similarly titled. Meet Bill, where she stars as Aaron Eckhart's cheating wife, and Meet Dave, starring Eddie Murphy as... a human spaceship for tiny aliens who falls in love with her. I'm sure Murphy plays all the aliens, and half of them are in fat suits. Jack Black's spoof of that tendency in Tropic Thunder is likely going to be more fun.
Also, random observation: Aaron Eckhart is in The Dark Knight as a crusading lawman, and there was a fat, dirty cop named Eckhart in Tim Burton's Batman. Also, upon watching the latter film again recently, I can't help but notice that Jack Nicholson's Joker goading Michael Keaton's Bat-jet towards him seems interestingly akin to Heath Ledger's Joker begging Christian Bale's Bat-cycle to "Come on! Hit me!"
