Larry Hama, credited with pretty much creating most of the characters in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero back in its 80s heyday, is now a creative consultant for the upcoming G.I. Joe movie, and he sent AICN the first looks at the fan-favorite silent ninja badass Snake Eyes, staple of the Joe team. Take a look and see what you think.

Honestly, that first image makes him look, well, short and stubby, which is what Ray Park is. I'm sure movie magic can help lessen the emphasis on this and remind us that Darth Maul is totally awesome.

I think it looks pretty cool. Hard to tell until I see him moving but I'm interested in seeing Snake Eyes take his vow of silence and Destro get all metal plated.

Snake Eyes took a vow of silence? I thought a grenade or land mine blew up or something and screwed up his vocal cords.
