A cabal of folks have just signed on to Jody Hill's comedy about mall cops, Observe and Report, joining Seth Rogen in the cast lineup. Rogen will be playing an ego-inflated mall security guard, Michael Pena will be his right-hand man and Jesse Plemons will play one of his underlings. Anna Faris will be the sales girl lust object for Rogen, and Ray Liotta will play Rogen's nemesis, an actual police officer.
Mall cops are an easy target (just ask Jay and Silent Bob from Mallrats), but the talent involved could keep this funny.
