A bigger and better slate of comic-book movies has never been seen than the slew of films due out in the summer of 2008. This isn't even counting this fall's James Bond and Harry Potter sequels, Quantum of Solace and the Half Blood Prince, which count as honorary comic-book movies. Iron Man comes out this weekend, and looks to be the perfect popcorn entertainment that will draw people in who normally wouldn't even bother with this genre. But it's only the first of many this summer, so let's rejoice in The Summer of Geek.
