Kristin Davis, whom you undoubtedly know as Charlotte from Sex and the City [watch the trailer], recently shed a bit more light on the persistent 'somebody dies in this movie' rumors.
I just tell people that I don’t die in the movie. I just think that’s weird. Like why would we get back together and kill one of the four of us? Why? Why? I don’t even want to kill any of the guys! I don’t get it, really. We’re a comedy. A romantic comedy, but you know what I’m saying. I don’t think we need, you know, death.
It’s just a bad, bad, bad rumor. It's an upsetting rumor that Michael would be like, "Yes, we’re going to work for four years to get the movie made and then Charlotte, who has wanted to have a baby her whole entire life, is going to die in childbirth." Like, he’s not that sadistic, you know? And I’m really glad he’s not. He’s a little bit ... but he’s not that mean. I mean, that would be bad. And I would have to say no to that because my, my, I can’t let my Charlotte fans down, and I would never want to say no — obviously, I love our movie — but to that, I would draw the line.
