Nicolas Cage is going to take the place of Harvey Keitel in an update of Keitel's notorious 1992 film Bad Lieutenant, a story about a corrupt and depraved cop who is profoundly affected by the rape of a nun. It's so harsh and unforgiving that the film earned an NC-17 rating. It's highly unlikely Cage's film will do the same, with a script by TV cop show veteran Billy Finkelstein.
The weirdest thing? In England, it's pronounced "Bad Left Tenant."
