More casting news for Oliver Stone's W, a take on the current administration, that may or may not be a black comedy. We've now got the venerable Scott Glenn taking on the role of former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
He joins the strangely stellar cast of Josh Brolin as W, Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush, Ellen Burstyn and James Cromwell as the elder Bushes, Thandie Newton as Condoleezza Rice, Jeffrey Wright as Colin Powell and Ioan Gruffudd as Tony Blair. Strangely stellar because of wild innacuracies reported in the script, as well as Stone's reputation as a bit of a wild conspiracy theorist. Perhaps he's calmed down a bit with World Trade Center [watch the trailer].
