Steven Spielberg, currently busy with Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and soon to be starting work on his adaptation of the classic comic Tintin, has stated that his next project after that will be his long-discussed Lincoln, starring Liam Neeson as the titular 16th President of the United States. He wants to get it released in 2009, to coincide with what would be Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday if he was one of the immortals in Highlander.
Perhaps Spielberg will incorporate this new conspiracy theory into his biopic, and show that John Wilkes Booth didn't shoot the president, but rather cut off his head. Instead of jumping to the theater floor and yelling "Sic semper tyrannis," he may have actually shouted "There can be only one!" Although that would likely be in poor taste.
