Fancast Film Fest: Nicolas Cage Movies

Nicolas Cage Films

Nicolas Cage. When he's good, he wins Oscars. When he's not, he phones it in. But early on, the former Nicolas Coppola was just plain kooky. Right here on Fancast, we've got three of his kookier films that you can watch in their entirety for free. So let's cut the chit-chat and get to watching.

Moonstruck
The film that got Cher and Olympia Dukakis their Oscars, Cage plays Ronny, the younger brother of Loretta's (Cher) fiancé, Danny Aiello. Ronny sweeps into Loretta's well-ordered life and redefines it by introducing her to the notion of passion and love, while her mother warns her against it. "When you love them, they drive you crazy because they know they can." So snap out of it and watch this film.

Vampire's Kiss
Cage plays Peter Loew, a literary agent and complete yuppie businessman who keeps his love life as shallow as possible while slowly going insane. When one of his conquests (Jennifer Beals) turns out to be a suckhead, it gives his mania carte blanche to find release once he believes himself converted to the phylum vampirae. Maybe it's all in his mind, or maybe he vants to suck your blood! A different kind of American psycho.

Raising Arizona
The Coen Brothers' second film and first comedic masterpiece about a randomly eloquent ex-con named H.I. McDonnough who kidnaps one of a set of quintuplets for his infertile wife (Holly Hunter), only to quickly find him re-kidnapped by H.I.'s criminal buddies (John Goodman and William Forsythe). Absolute genius all the way through
