Brick loves lamp, and we love Brick.
There have been rumblings of a sequel to one of the best comedies ever, the fantastic Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, and Steve Carell says he would be on board for that.
“Oh, absolutely,” Carell said. “Yeah, in a second. That is one of the most fun things I ever did. I laughed until I cried, every day on that movie.”
“I’ve heard some inklings as to what Adam McKay has in mind for a sequel, and it’s really funny,” Carell explained. “But I couldn’t say anything more than that.”
Potential titles:
2 Anchor 2 Man
Anchorman 2: Anchormaner
Anchorman 2: Electric Boogaloo
Anchorman 2 The Streets
Anchorman 2: Golden Receiver
Live Free or Anchorman
Likely, they'll choose an original, fantastic title and it will be glorious. Let's not try to think about how rarely sequels capture the same lightning in a bottle, or how the underwhelming performance of Semi-Pro might be prompting Will Ferrell to go back to the well. Let's just revel in the idea of more Anchorman action.

Awesome. The Adam McKay comedies have been pretty much pitching perfect games, I certainly trust him to make an entertaining film until he can prove me wrong.
