The Ivy Tickles Sarah Jessica Parker

SJP

Sarah Jessica Parker may be bringing us a different take on her Sex and the City lifestyle - i.e. what would happen if Carrie Bradshaw had to start over in a much lower wage class?

That's likely not the exact way that The Ivy Chronicles will wind up playing out should she sign on, but the story is said to be in the vein of The Devil Wears Prada and The Nanny Diaries, about a woman who loses her job and her husband and has to start over in single-motherhood. Knocked down a few pegs, she nevertheless starts a business centered around helping women get their kids into "elite kindergartens."

Elite kindergartens.

Also, if you take note of that HR article, it says that Karen Quinn's novel The Ivy Chronicles is 'eponymous.' That, however, doesn't mean the movie is retaining the same title as the book. That would mean the name of the book was "Karen Quinn." A thankless grammatical objection I'd like to make, in honor of George Carlin.
