Jonah Hex would make for a truly great movie. Unfortunately, Clint Eastwood is too old to play this grizzled and deformed ex-Confederate soldier-turned-bounty hunter who never leaves a debt unpaid. It certainly wouldn't be your average comic-book movie, considering he once bit the head off a live buzzard while hogtied and hung upside down in the desert and left to die.
Even though this hard-as-nails Western loner has been drawn to even look like the iconic younger Eastwood with a scarred up face, Film School Rejects dug up a mysterious photo with Thomas Jane done up for the role of Hex. The production of the film is currently in the hands of Akiva Goldsman, but nothing involving casting has been announced at all. There's no confirmation as to where this photo came from or what it means, but it seems like a pretty big hint, doesn't it?
