There's one more Marvel Comics' movie due out this year, and this one is starkly different in tone from the light and fun Iron Man and the CG spectacle of The Incredible Hulk.
This is Frank Castle (Ray Stevenson), aka The Punisher, who is waging a one-man war against crime after losing his family to the senseless violence of it all. His crusade now forces him to cross paths with a nasty criminal by the name of Jigsaw (Dominic West), and some of the old ultraviolence ensues just in time for yuletide cheer.
It's a new take on the old favorite, and perhaps this one is the one that will galvanize audiences everywhere to that deadly skull insignia. Director Lexi Alexander is promising a no-punches-pulled approach, and she's "relying on all the sick fucks to show up." So check out this trailer and make your plans now.
