Brad Pitt in Quentin Tarantino's "Inglorious Bastards?"

Quentin Tarantino, Brad Pitt

Quentin Tarantino's Dirty Dozen-inspired World War II movie Inglorious Bastards is currently being shopped around to a number of studios, which is bringing a few questions up about the state of his longtime distributors, the Weinsteins. But more interesting news is the possibility that Brad Pitt may be in talks to star in it. Considering that one of Pitt's most memorable roles (and one he's said is among his favorites) is his bit part as Dick Ritchie's stoner roommate Floyd in True Romance, written by Tarantino, this development would be like returning to his roots, if it happens. At the same time, it'll be nothing like that, because a bunch of swaggering soldiers kicking asses is notably different than schmucks in LA trying to score a big payday by selling stolen blow (which, incidentally, rhymes with but has nothing to do with Colon Blow).

This could be a very fun development. We'll keep you posted.
