The erstwhile Danny DeVito has managed to corral Pierce Brosnan, Morgan Freeman and Saoirse Ronan to star in his writing/directing project The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, an adaptation of a "young adult novel" written by someone known only as Avi.
As you might expect, Ronan will be playing Doyle, a girl making a treacherous journey across the Atlantic Ocean to America in the 1830s on a boat captained by Brosnan, who must fend off a rebellious crew as fed by Freeman, the ship's cook.
