Dwayne Johnson, when he still was going by The Rock (which he will always go by, no matter how he's billed), starred in Hancock director Peter Berg's 2003 action-comedy as Beck, a man working as a bounty hunter/muscle-for-hire who dreams become a master chef and leaving the violent life behind. He's got one last job to do before he can earn enough money to open a restaurant, and that job is to head down to Brazil and track down a wiseacre by the name of Travis (Seann William Scott) and bring him back to his criminal father. When Beck finally finds the guy, it turns out he's adamant about not leaving, determined to find a treasure while running afoul of Hatcher (Christopher Walken), who's running his own oppressive gold mine and running roughshod over the locals. That's not something the quite competent native Mariana (Rosario Dawson) can put up with. A manhunt in the midst of a revolution, and Beck still finds time to get beat up by short guys.
It's funny, stuff blows up, and The Rock is awesome and Walken delivers a hilarious monologue about the Tooth Fairy. Watch The Rundown. It's a good time!
