You might not suspect it from the Wild West Comedy Show movie, but Vince Vaughn is apparently the best bang for your buck when casting for a film, as his movies apparently earned $14.73 for every dollar he was paid. This would be thanks in part to his work in low-budget movies that manage to perform well, like Dodgeball and Wedding Crashers.
Nicole Kidman, conversely, is at the bottom of the list at $1.01, thanks to expensive misfires like The Golden Compass, The Invasion and Bewitched. That said, this list was compiled by only considering the last three movies she'd made before 2008, and it only counts people in the $5 million+ salary club, so this is very much a 'what have you done for me lately?' kind of list.
It's quite likely that Australia will turn her fortunes around.
