Michael Cera Wouldn't Want an "Arrested Development" Film

Michael Cera

There have been rumors about a film version of Arrested Development, the cancelled TV series that critics loved and audiences never really found, but one of the stars of the show, Michael Cera, is unaware of any progress on that front, and he even admitted to some ambivalence about the idea itself.

"I don’t think I would want to see a movie of the series if I was a fan, anyway… and I don’t really see a need for it if you can get the three seasons on DVD."

After The X-Files:I Want To Believe bombed fairly significantly, chances are studios would be shy on launching a movie based on a TV series couldn't pick up steam. But as star Jason Bateman said, "America didn't really watch it but people in LA did and those are the ones who hire us."
