Josh Brolin's camp has denied this so far, but there's a rumor that he'll be bringing his swagger to the role of Jonah Hex, DC Comics' scarred-up western badass, in a film adaptation of the book. This is a bit of an unexpected swerve, as much as Brolin would certainly excel in the role of the grizzled bounty hunter, since we've already seen that Thomas Jane actually came in to help them test some makeup choices for Hex a while back. Still, he had enough twang and gumption in No Country for Old Men that there's no doubt Brolin would do a bang-up job.
