What happens when you make a low-budget movie about goblins and try to sell it? Somebody decides it's actually a sequel to a movie that has absolutely no goblins in it! As such, Troll 2 has nary a troll to be found. Instead, it's about goblins of Nilbog (get it, 'goblin' backwards!) who defeat the purpose of vegetarianism by hunting down humans to turn into plants and THEN eat!

Sure, you may THINK this is a Gremlins rip-off, but the first Ghoulies movie actually started development before Gremlins, even though Stripe and Gizmo made it to the screen a year earlier.
